I have to be honest when Rejuvent introduced ThermiVa Vaginal Rejuvenation I was impressed with the benefits but was uncertain if I wanted to have the procedure.
Why? Because I work at Rejuvent and did not want my co-workers to see my private parts. As time went by I heard more and more about the procedure and talked with Linda Esposito, the Rejuvent Nurse that performs the treatment. I read patient’s reviews, talked with Dr. Bomer about her experience, and slowly warmed up to booking my own ThermiVa treatment.
Let me give you a little background on me. I am 53 years old, I have been married for 30 years to an amazing, energetic, healthy and loving husband. I had 2 children via c-section and an early total hysterectomy, over 10 years ago. From a health standpoint, I am healthy but going through menopause symptoms for many many years, these symptoms include all the usual post-menopausal stuff, vaginal dryness, loss of libido, hormone imbalancement, etc.
As a sexually active woman, I wanted to enjoy sex more, I wanted to have more feeling and sensation and wanted to tighten my vagina and rejuvenate the outer area. I felt that my tissues down there were looser than they used to be, the vagina itself felt larger and the dryness was getting worse and worse. So I researched all the options for vaginal rejuvenation, including ThermiVa and decided that it resulted in better outcomes, with less risk and complications. Some of the other options for non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation had downtime, tissue burning and they either addressed the outside or the inside. I was looking for a solution that addressed the vagina and the vulva, so ThermiVa was perfect for me!
I knew that ThermiVa’s benefits were:

- Improves vaginal appearance (vulva)
- Increases vaginal moisture
- Reduces urinary urgency and leakage
I felt that I could have improved from all these benefits. Some more than others, but they were all applicable to me. I never really had urinary incontinence or leakage, but I did have what I call a “worried bladder”, what I mean by that is that I was always worried I had to go, at the movies I felt that my bladder could not wait, at car trips I worried about having to go too often.
For a Valentine Day celebration, my husband presented me with the ThermiVa Package which consists of 3 treatments, spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart.
When the big day arrived I was excited and over my original trepidations of having my co-worker perform the procedure. During the one hour procedure, I did not feel any pain and only minor discomfort. At times the wand felt hotter but Linda kept moving it and talking with me to distract me. If I had to put it in some sort of 0 to 5 scale, my response would be zero. The heat was very tolerable. After the procedure, I felt no pain or even cramps (I read that others had minor cramp like symptoms but I did not). Three hours after my procedure I had sex. It was amazing. Not only I felt my vaginal canal tighter, it was for sure more sensitive and had more ridges. The dryness had considerably improved and I am happy to report that my orgasms were stronger, longer and more frequent. I had no real worries about the vulva and external appearance but I did notice the skin was more tucked in and it looked a lot prettier.
During the weeks before my second procedure, I continued to have sex and felt that the improvement stayed the same. During the second procedure, it was pretty much the same except that I knew what to expect and was even more excited about getting more improvement. After the second procedure, I did have minor cramps but they were not too painful and I took 2 Ibuprofens which completely took the pain away. We had sex 5 or six hours after it and again I noticed that the canal was even tighter and more sensitive, it seemed that the improvements were just getting better for me!
My last ThemiVa procedure was yesterday and I am thrilled to report that ThermiVa has completely changed my vagina. I no longer feel that I have an “old” vagina. My vagina is more sensitive, tighter, more textured and full of ridges, my orgasms have improved in strength, speed, and duration. My vagina’s exterior has a younger appearance and the inside is enjoying it’s improved youthful attributes.
